Otley Action for Older People (OAOP) is a long established and successful community-based organisation working on behalf of the older population of Otley, Pool and Arthington. OAOP is part of the Leeds Neighbourhood Network Schemes (NNS).

Exercise

Weekly Tai Chi, Zumba and Bowling, and Chair-Based exercise for those with less mobility.

Transport

Car scheme transport for medical appointments and Minibus assisted transport to some of our activities

Home Support & Befriending

Home visits for assistance with form completion (Attendance Allowance, Blue Badge) and a Befriending service.

Groups & Classes

Monthly Quiz, Memory Cafรฉ & Internet Cafรฉs; Weekly Bingo; Weekly Art Class.

Lunch Clubs

Twice weekly in Otley and weekly in Pool. Transport is available.

Community Cafรฉ

Every Friday, open to everyone in the community, featuring different topical sessions.

MEMBERSHIP IS FREE AND IS OPEN TO EVERYONE OVER THE AGE OF 60, LIVING INDEPENDENTLY WITHIN LS21.
